These “crush” nuts are used to mount the console or auto shifter assembly in your 1968-69 Camaro. Drill the holes in the floor insert the rivet nuts and tighten them down. The nuts will crush like a rivet giving you a solid place to mount your center console or automatic shifter.
Correct 5/16"-18 rivet nuts with generic bolts and washers for console installation. These nuts can also be used to mount automatic floor shifters.
